MedTechInvest Canada is committed to providing information about FixNip NRI in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities. We design this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

• An accessibility control on every page (the round button at the bottom of the screen) to enlarge text, increase contrast and reduce motion. Your settings are remembered on your device.
• The site follows the reduced-motion setting of your operating system.
• Full content in English and in French, with a language switch on every page.
• A clear heading structure, landmarks and descriptive link texts for screen readers.
• Operation with the keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
• Text alternatives for informative images; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Forms with visible labels, instructions and error messages that are announced to assistive technologies.
• Layouts that adapt to small screens and to zoom up to 400 percent.

We design and test this site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. WCAG allows a conformance claim only for pages that meet every success criterion of a level in full. We have not yet had the site independently audited and therefore make no conformance claim. The known exceptions are listed below; everything else on the site is built to meet level AA. An independent audit is planned, and this statement will be updated with its results and the date of the review.

• 3D and animated presentations of the device: they illustrate what the text describes. All information they contain is also available as text on the same page, and the animations stop when reduced motion is on.
• Maps in the surgeon locator and the tattoo directory: the map is visual; the list next to it contains every entry with its address and can be searched and filtered without the map.
• Training videos in the professional area: captions and transcripts are being added progressively. Physicians who need them in the meantime can ask us.
• Documents from third parties (for example PDFs of patient organizations or authorities) may not be fully accessible, and we are not able to change them. The pages that link to them would meet WCAG 2.2 level AA if those third-party documents were removed; they are marked as external documents where they appear.
