One integrated implant

Medical-grade silicone

The silicone encapsulates the frame and is designed to provide a softer feel.

Small openings designed for anchoring

Perforated silicone designed for anchoring to the adjacent fat tissue.

A flexible frame designed to support the shape

The flower-shaped frame is made of nitinol, a metal made from nickel and titanium that is commonly used in medical devices. It is fully encapsulated in medical-grade silicone, and the implant is folded for insertion through a small incision.

A flat base

The nipple structure sits on a flat silicone base, placed flat in the pocket.

Designed to support projection.

This is how the procedure goes.

A small incision

15 to 25 mm, a few millimetres from the edge of the future areola. The implant is folded to fit through it.

Placed in a subcutaneous pocket

The implant is placed flat in a pocket in the subcutaneous tissue, at a depth your surgeon determines.

A surgical procedure, tailored to your needs

Anaesthesia and the care setting are decided by your surgeon.

Recovery is personal

Depending on your care plan, you may be able to go home on the day of the procedure. The skin closes over the implant, and your surgeon will guide each step of your recovery.

Colour, if you choose it

Colour can follow after healing, at least 6 months after implantation, if you choose it. Once your surgeon confirms the site has healed, a medical tattoo artist adds the pigment of the areola, point by point.

One option for nipple reconstruction, decided with your surgeon.

Your path

From the conversation to the colour.

It starts with a conversation. Your surgeon examines the reconstructed breast, checks the timing since reconstruction and radiation and the tissue at the site, and tells you whether FixNip NRI is an option for you.

A small-incision procedure planned around your needs. Through a small incision, the surgeon places the implant in a subcutaneous pocket and closes the site. Anaesthesia and the care setting are decided by your surgeon. Depending on your care plan, you may be able to go home on the day of the procedure.

Healing, at your own pace. Recovery is personal. Your surgeon will guide each step: wound care, showering, activity, work and sports, and follow-up visits as needed. Colour can come next, if you choose it.
